Taking over responsibilities was a big challenge for Temca during the last couple of months. The demand for soap and disinfectant dispensers rose rapidly during the pandemic, paper handkerchiefs, folded towels and toilet paper also had above-average sales. In addition, interruptions in supply chains had to be absorbed, production ramped up and additional work had to be performed. Our customers and distributors had to accept longer waiting times for their orders and delivery conditions were adjusted.

Under the given difficult circumstances, it was necessary to react professionally and thoughtfully in order to satisfy the increased demand and to ensure production and delivery capability. This was made possible by the tireless efforts of our entire TEMCA staff. In order to cope with the exploding order situation, our entire TEMCA team showed full commitment. Work in our own production has been running at high pressure for weeks: employees work in shifts, do overtime and even cope without holidays. This commitment deserves recognition.

The management did not stop at words of praise and decided to honour the commitment of all employees in the first phase of the Corona crisis with a bonus. In addition to their salaries, everyone received a Corona bonus of 500 euros. With this special payment, we would like to thank our employees for their special achievements in the past weeks.

In the meantime, a return to normal in production and sales is slowly recognizable. Initially, the focus will be on replenishing stocks step by step and getting supply chains back on track. Hopefully the commodities market will relax soon and that should make it easier to purchase many products again.
