Sustainability at TEMCA
As a company, we bear responsibility - economically, socially and for our environment. Meeting the needs of our customers and employees and using the resources available to us conscientiously is therefore a matter of particular concern to us. Under the heading of sustainability, we unite efforts for an appreciative coexistence and a planet worth living on in the long term.
In order to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible in times of a changing climate, we make sure that our products are manufactured as sustainably as possible. The use of high-quality, certified materials as well as the continuous optimization of our manufacturing processes are the basis of our sustainable production.

Our certificates for sustainability
Ecolabel
The EU Ecolabel is a label of environmental excellence that is awarded to products and services meeting high environmental standards throughout their life-cycle: from raw material extraction, to production, distribution and disposal.
PEFC-Certificate
PEFC-certified products are transparently controlled by independent experts from the raw material to the finished end product. They demonstrably originate from ecologically, economically and socially sustainable forestry. TEMCA products with the PEFC seal are an active contribution to the preservation of forests and the responsible use of valuable resources.
Biodegradable
Products are considered biodegradable if their materials can be completely decomposed by biological activity, such as enzymes or microorganisms, and under specific conditions. Our racon® premium AIR products have received the test certificate of the Landesgewerbeanstalt (LGA) Bayern, which confirms the compostability of the materials.
FSC®-Certificate
The Forest Stewardship Council® is a global, non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote responsible forest management worldwide. The FSC® defines standards for responsible forest management according to defined principles, which are developed and supported by stakeholders from the environmental, social and economic sectors. Raw materials for TEMCA products bearing the FSC® logo come from exemplary managed FSC® certified forests, reclaimed materials and other controlled sources.
ISEGA
The ISEGA certificate is awarded by publicly appointed and sworn experts from ISEGA Forschungs- und Untersuchungsgesellschaft mbH Aschaffenburg. It confirms the harmlessness of products in terms of health and food law. They are therefore suitable for cleaning surfaces on which food is prepared or stored. The raw material of our racon® premium AIR products is ISEGA-certified.
